Girls are the sweetest creatures on earth. They are nice, gentle, thoughtful and kind. Unlike boys. Lol I sound like I'm turning lesbian.
*************************
Let's do a cost-benefit analysis on whether to continue taking h3.

pros
1. I will be able to hit the gym every thursday with yingying cos I have a long break between end of lessons and h3. (er, maybe tt's not an advantage afterall)
2. The chances of getting a scholarship will be higher will tt subject. That is, provided I get a distinction.

cons
1. Those taking h3 consists of mainly foreigners who are seasoned pros in chinese. In hci, there are a total of only 10 taking clit, in ny 10 out of the 13 and in tj, 9 out of 11 taking are foreign students. According to ting, that will "shift the bell curve" and standards will be relatively high. In short, it's damn hard to get a distinction.
2. I don't like novels and we are studying dream of the red mansions. I didn't take up h3 with the intention of doing novels.
3. the amount of effort you've got to put in to studying the text is not proportionate to the percentage of marks awarded.
4. School ends exceptionally early on thursdays yet i have to rot away waiting for lessons to start at 4pm.
5. It will take up a huge chunk of my time.

Hmph. It seems like it isn't so worthwhile afterall. Both the pros are rebutted by the cons. A million thanks to fl for encouraging me to persevere, but I'm still undecisive. =(

boo!
