translation competition, mentoring

The translation competition at AH was quite fun. We had to translate an english passage into chinese and a chinese page into english. The former was very tough for me, because you have to consider the structure of chinese sentences. And I'm not particularly good at that.

AHS is an ulu place, tucked away at an obscure corner in the eastern side of Singapore. I had to scale many flights of stair and journey my way there. Anyway, AH-ians, both boys and girls, are pretty good-looking. :)

There's this new tutor teaching our class. People will become very enthu during his lessons, fighting for the front row. Such an interesting sight.

I love my mentee~ She's so adorable can? She can be very quiet at times but from her actions you can sense that she's a warm and nice girl. :D
And I love the other mentees too! While we were having a game of captain's ball, one of the kids tried to shoot but missed. Then one of the other kids said "It's ok! You've done your best!" That totally wow-ed me. I mean, she's only ten(sorry if I sound like an ageist)! And while we(the bigger kids) were struggling to balance on the balancing beam, they came over and held our hands, guiding us through. That was so sweet~ *wipes tear from eye*And we were suppposed to be the ones "guiding" them. I conclude that kids are lovable beings capable of performing super nice acts while maitaining their mischievous self.

What else did I want to blog about? Hmm... I was going to praise Eason's vocals but decided against it because I've been doing the same for other singers and it may cause inflation of my praises. Lol.

boo!
